Joshua is going to be an awesome big brother!

I think most of you know that we are expecting a little one in July. We just found out that Joshua is having a little sister! I know he's going to be a great big brother and I can't wait to see them grow up together. While I was having the ultrasound and we were watching our little girl on the big screen, Joshua was leaning over the table rubbing my head and shoulder!! It was the cutest little thing. I know he's going to adore his sister!

For some reason, I just haven't taken very many pictures lately. I need to start pulling out the camera more often. Anyway, here's a picture of my boys last night munching on popcorn. This was the first time we let Joshua have any popcorn and it made me really nervous!!! But he did really well-tried to eat only one piece at a time (I say tried because we'd catch him trying to sneak a handful!!!) and chewed it up well.

We celebrated grandma D's birthday last week with homemade pizza and a big salad. (Yum!!!) Here's Joshua getting some hugs before dinner.

I moved Joshua's dishes to a drawer that he could easily access so he could learn to start helping. He loves picking out his own bowl or plate and silverware.

Discovery Gateway

We went to a children's museum yesterday and Joshua had a blast. Before they opened, though, we went to Build-a-Bear and he picked out a Big Bird. He was a little scared of helping, but he did pick out and kiss a heart to go inside of him.
When the museum opened, he got to go around to the different learning exhibits and actually participate by doing things. Here's a few more pics (the first one with Joshua giving the "news" is from there, too!)-

Here's Joshua and Sydney, another one of his good friends. Her mom, Crystal, and I like to scrapbook together while the kids play. Sydney's a little older than Joshua but he doesn't care! He loves to hang out with other kids. :) They were wearing friendship bracelets when I took this photo. Too cute!

Still tons of snow around here and much too cold to do much outdoors!! Here's Joshua doing one of his favorite things...looking at our photo albums! He loves to look at them. He points to the pictures and even notices some of my fun embellishments (he pointed to some balloons and said, "baloo.") :) .

Jack came over for a couple of hours last night to play. The boys had a blast together!!

Who goes out for ice cream when it's freezing and snowy outside? We do!! :) Sounded good and we'd been stuck inside so we made a trip to go out for ice cream. Needless to say, we were the only ones in there for a while!

Snow

This was from a few days ago (maybe a week!!), but I'm just getting around to it. Joshua got all decked out in his snow gear but was afraid to move in the snow!! He liked it much better near the garage entrance where he could stay in the dry garage and just barely step in the snow. I think it was just too deep for him to move very well otherwise. He likes to pick it up and try to throw the snow.
