Got this one done for the journaling class at Feeling Scrappy (journaling is hidden). I used the current sketch at Getting Sketchy for it.

Pumpkin Patch

Ok, so it's not a REAL pumpkin patch, but it's fun and the money goes to a local church. :) Joshua wanted a pumpkin he could carry and tried to pick up quite a few. We finally settled on one (even though he couldn't pick it up!) and he got to pick out a couple of baby pumpkins for him and Abby.

Jeremy and Joshua carved the big pumpkin while I cooked dinner. Joshua was grossed out by the pumpkin "guts" and wouldn't touch them! LOL.

YAY!!!

I am so excited and honored to have been chosen as a Design Team member for Feeling Scrappy!! If you haven't already checked out the site, it's a wonderful and supportive message board that offers online scrapbooking classes. The address is www.feelingscrappy.com . We have a BIG CROP planned for November 30th!! Put it on your calendars, you won't want to miss the fun and PRIZES!!! If you've never participated in an online crop before, it's a lot of fun. There will be challenges, games and lots of chatting. Hope you'll join us!

Altered Box

I got the idea for this box from a box someone altered on AMM. I just used an empty box from one of our Schwans items, added some paint, Scenic Route paper, ribbon, Thickers and stamped flourishes. I made it to store all the cards my friends have made and sent to me. :)

Layout and a quick craft

Here's a layout I just finished today for the class I am taking at Feeling Scrappy.

And the cover of our MOPS address book. Made it for the coordinator who claims she doesn't have a creative bone in her body. LOL

Croptoberfest

Man, am I a procrastinator or what??? TSS had a Croptoberfest and it was on Saturday and Sunday. The challenges had to be done by midnight on Wednesday. Didn't make time until tonight to get these done and now it's waaaay past my bedtime!!! But I got most of them completed just in time (priorities, right?? LOL). Here are my finished challenge layouts (the first one is a card!)-

Tagged again!

Michelle tagged me. I think I did this not too long ago, but I'm always up for a little fun so here it goes. :)

Instructions:
1. Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself (on your blog, we all want to know them).
3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
4. Let each person know that they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

7 Random things about me

1. I love coffee but I usually drink it so slowly that I have to reheat it a couple of times before I finish.
2. I can't stand not having my toenails painted.
3. I always have to be doing something. I can't just sit and be still.
4. I love cold weather.
5. My kitchen always has to be clean or it drives me nuts.
6. I'll do silly things just to see my kids smile. :)
7. I hate folding laundry (sorry, couldn't think of anything else!)

The only person i know who hasn't done this recently is Melanie G.
but I'd love to read anyone's list so if you are reading this, feel free to tag yourself and leave me a comment to come and read your list.

Went for a drive

I wanted to go for a drive to see the changing leaves. Well, we were a little late. Most of the leaves had already fallen and there was snow on the ground already!! It was 17 degrees! Brrrrr. Anyway, we jumped out for a couple of pics, but it was just too cold and a little windy.

Mailbox

Joshua loves to open mail. So I got a plain little mailbox from the craft store to decorate for him and leave little notes inside it for him.

More layouts

Had to catch up in the class I am taking on Feeling Scrappy (ok, I didn't HAVE to catch up, but I wanted to so I could be entered into some of the drawings for prizes!!! LOL) Here are a couple of faves I completed today. I scraplifted the design for the Dream one from Hudyof5 on The Scrapbook Site.

Not much scrapping lately!

The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy so I haven't had much time to get much scrapping in. I did finish a couple of quick baby pages for Abigail's baby album. Not sure everyone would want to see the delivery page/pictures. LOL But I'll post the second one I did. Super simple. Used a poem I found online through a link in the journaling class I am taking at Feeling Scrappy.

All smiles!

I love that Abigail is smiling a lot now. Seeing her smile just makes me HAPPY!!! And Joshua is always making me laugh. He's so silly!!

Second cousins

Sorry it's been so long since I updated. It's just been a really busy couple of weeks here. We just finished up a great visit with some family we haven't seen in awhile. My uncle Don, aunt Jan, my cousin Karen and her two little girls, Katelyn and Kelsey flew in for the weekend. This was the first time the kids got to meet (told you it's been awhile! Last time I saw Karen was at Steve's wedding!). We mostly just visited and let the kids play. Joshua and Katelyn got along great and were soon playing like they've always known each other. Abigail is about 4 months younger than Kelsey but almost the same size! (Joshua was probably twice the size at this point!LOL)

I can't wait to go to Northern California to visit everybody on their turf. Here are a couple of pics (can you believe I took a ton but only got a few decent ones? The kids just move too fast and are onto something else by the time I grab my camera! LOL)
