Contest Entries!

I've received my first entry for the sketch contest!! See details below under "contest." But all you have to do is use one of my sketches from this site and email it to me by next week (may 13) to be entered into a drawing for some fun scrappy goodies! I have been meaning to post a photo of the prize, but I just haven't had a chance yet. I will do it this week sometime. In the meantime, I hope you'll consider entering! It's just for fun and you'll get some scrapping done, too! :) Hope you are having a great weekend!

Online crop!!!

There's going to be an awesome online crop tomorrow at http://www.feelingscrappy.com/ . They have challenges and tons of prizes in store for us!! If you haven't already checked out the main site and joined the message board, you are missing out! The ladies are so much fun and Jayne (the site owner) has some great events and classes lined up. I just signed up for the first one that begins June 4th-All Tied Up. It's all about using ribbon in your scrapbooks and sounds like a lot of fun! Go check it out!!

Aunty Crystal's Birthday, too!!

Crystal and Tim's birthdays are just one day apart...like mine and Joshua's!! We went to the Olive Garden for dinner for Crystal's birthday. YUM!! Joshua was just as excited about the gifts and the cake!!

Uncle Tim's Birthday

We had a Carne Asada feast for joshua's uncle Tim's birthday at grandma's house. Joshua thinks birthdays are so much fun now. He acts like every gift is for him to open and the candles are for him to blow out!! He doesn't try to take the gifts or anything, he just gets really excited about opening them and loves to try to blow out the candles. It's so funny.

Contest!!!

Just for kicks, I'm getting together a fun goodie bag of scrapbooking goodies for one lucky person! All you have to do it create a layout using one of the sketches I've come up with and posted here on my blog. If you've already used one, that's fine, too. It doesn't have to be a new one. :) Just email a photo of your layout to me at mrslokovic@yahoo.com and I'll randomly draw the name of the winner!! I'll try to post a couple more sketch ideas for you in the meantime that you can use as well. Deadline is Sunday, May 13th. Hopefully that gives you plenty of time to make a layout and email it to me. So, I had been wanting the Curvy Cutter for a long time and I finally broke down and bought it. I think I've used it twice in a month or more!! That's it! So here's a circle sketch for ya...maybe it'll inspire me to use that thing!! :)

Got a little scrapping time in yesterday. I generally scrap during Joshua's naptime. Used a ton of stuff here!!
