Got this one done during Joshua's nap. I used MME, Elsie papers, Elsie letters and my new white pen.

I loosely used a sketch from http://www.pagemaps.com/ for these.

Down at the county fair-
I used: Kaliedoscope, BG and bazzill papers. Rub on letters and QK Star font
I submitted this one for the weekly challenge at http://www.feelingscrappy.com/ (had to use primary colors!)

Miracle-
I used: I used: Tres Jolie paper and CM vellum, QK Zoe font (I think that's what it is), flowers (not sure what brand) and MME rhinestones. I cut the scallops myself.

The Write Stuff

I just signed up for October's class at Feeling Scrappy! It's all about journaling. I've taken two other classes through this site and they've been well worth the money. If you want to read more about the classes, go to http://www.feelingscrappy.com/class_details.html .

Be sure to check out the message board as well- lots of wonderful ladies there.

Auntie Les and Auntie Kim

Jeremy's sisters came for a short visit (can't wait til you guys can stay longer!). Joshua had a blast playing (after his brief shy moment that happens everytime anyone visits). It was really nice to see them.

While Abigail is not quite old enough to do much playing, she did get really excited the other day when she was able to swat this little toy. It was really cute! Her eyes lit up and Joshua and I cheered her on as she kept reaching for it. Ahhhh....the little things in life. :)

Getting Sketchy Challenge

Here's my take on the sketch challenge posted at Getting Sketchy! I took some of the height and length off of the cardstock to make room for the stuff to hang off of the edges. I used MME Signature Life papers, Doodlebug letters, MME Tres Jolie buttons. CTMH ink, Primas., some brads and a clip. I forget the brand of the stamp I used.

Joshua loves looking at our photo albums. He will often just pull one out and say he's going to, "read scrapbook." (Although he leaves the "s" off of scrapbook...you figure out his pronounciation. LOL). Anyway, caught him "reading" the other day. It always reminds me why I spend a good amount of time and money on our albums when I see him enjoying them so much.

Completed these tonight. I CASEd the first one from a layout Lyn posted on Feeling Scrappy, thanks for the inspiration!! I used Pebbles Inc. products on it. The second one uses Basic Grey and Pebbles Inc. letters. (Sorry about the crooked photo of the second layout.)

County Fair

Our county fair is REALLY small. So much different than what I grew up going to (LA and Orange County Fairs!). We went on Saturday and it rained on us. It rained on us last year while we were there, too. Here are a few pics of Joshua (Abigail slept in the stroller the whole time).
