Crop this Friday!

Don't forget to join us at our BIG Jingle Bell Crop this Friday!! It's on the message Board at www.feelingscrappy.com . There will be TONS of great prizes (see post below). And all you have to do is scrap and play along. You'll have til Sunday night to complete the challenges but there will be way to earn extra tickets and prizes throughout the day on Friday only. I just finished a couple of pages for the challenges I will be posting but I can't share them with you til Friday. :)

Abby's "thing" these days is to try to pull herself up to sitting. She loves it. More the pulling up than the sitting part (which she can't really do without a LOT of support). She's been practing tummy time, too. Here she is in action-

My scrap space

Have I ever shared where I scrap with you? I don't think so. Anyway, I work in this corner of my craft room in the basement. The rest of the room has tables set up and lots of toys. I like to spread out and have friends over to scrap as much as I can. Soooo, here's my favorite corner in the house-

Jingle Bell Crop- November 30th!

Feeling Scrappy’s “Shades of Autumn” Layout Contest!

Requirements:
Create a 12 x 12 paper layout that uses the shades of autumn as your color palette. The topic of the layout can be anything as long as you use those deep fall hues!
Contest begins on October 17, 2007 and runs until 10:00 pm (cst) on November 13, 2007.
Your entry must not be one already completed for any other sites, contests or challenges. It must be made for this specific contest and not posted on any other sites.
Submit your layout to the contest thread and the Feeling Scrappy Message Board Album under “Monthly Contest” Be sure to include your name and state.
Only one entry may be submitted per person.

The winner will receive making memories brand goodie package from Feeling Scrappy. In addition, the project will be posted on the main website for the month following the contest with the winner’s name & state, as well as announced in our newsletter & blog.

Altered box

I had this old box from IKEA sitting at the top of a closet full of old stuff. I decided to make better use of it and altered it for Abby's room.
Before-

After- I used acrylic paints, foam stamps, Crate Paper, flowers, brads and ribbon.

New member of the month program!!

I am super excited about something new Feeling Scrappy will be doing. We'll be having a Member of the Month each month. Our first one will be announced on December 1st. All you have to do is be active on the board, share about FS with your friends and participate in the challenges. Suzanne will be posting more about it later today on Feeling Scrappy-check it out! I hope everyone is as excited about this as I am.

Also, don't forget to put November 30th on your calendar for our online crop at FS. If you aren't already a member, go sign up now and get acquianted with the message board so you'll be ready to play and participate by the time the crop is here. (And there's plenty of inspiration and challenges to keep you busy until then. :) )
