Lots of stuff going on!

Working on the Paper class for Feeling Scrappy right now! Lots of great ideas to use your paper in unique ways on your layouts. I hope you'll be joining us for the class!! Feeling Scrappy classes are always a lot of fun.

I've also been finishing up July's How-to class for Paper Popsicles. It's about ready and we'll be posting a supply list on the board soon. Hope you'll check it out once it's up!!

Stay tuned for a couple of new layouts...just developed a few pictures for my Kitchen Keepsakes album and I plan on posting them here once I get them finished.

Father's Day

We had a nice BBQ at my parent's house on Saturday night in honor of our fathers. Lots of great food and company.

First how-to....

I posted a short tutorial on Paper Popsicles using these cool cards. They are a lot of fun to play with and are available in their store for a great price! (As well as lots of fun papers and embellishments to decorate them. I hope you'll go check out the tutorial on the message board under the How-To forum. :)

Member of the Month Contest!!

Want to be Feeling Scrappy's next Member of the Month? We are having a contest-I hope you will all try!!

Here's how it works-
You have the entire month of June to complete items for the contest if you are interest in playing.

The winner will recieve:

* Member of the Month Status for July (MOTM badge and they post a Challenge on the 15th)
* They will be highlighted on our main website
* They will receive 1/2 off our Positively Paper class in July.
* They will also receive a small surprise package of scrappy goodies from Jayne.

Here is what you need to do to win: (You do not have to complete ALL of these but the more the better!)

Page Maps Layout

Last month, I had a layout on Page Maps...I think I forgot to post it here. Oops!! It was a hectic month for us. Anyway, here it is. It was a landscape page map.

Day out with THOMAS!

Guess who got to meet Thomas the Tank Engine and ride in one of his cars??? Joshua was a very happy boy!



Abby even sat still for a tattoo of Thomas! Ha ha.


My parents, Auntie Crystal and Jeremy joined us for the big
day. Joshua was the only one impressed with the train ride-not too exciting for anyone except for a three year old!

The weekend before we moved, Lesley came out for a visit. We all loved seeing her! Here's a picture of Jeremy with his sister and the kids.

New challenges, a layout and an announcement!

Been trying hard to get settled in our new home. Still going to take some more time, but it's getting there. Finished up my second layout for a challenge on Feeling Scrappy. All of the new challenges have been posted there so I hope you will check them out. You get entries into the monthly drawing when you complete one or more of the challenges. For one of my challenges, you need to scrap an everyday moment-something that happens often in your home and that isn't related to a special occasion. Kari Ann has a great photo challenge that goes along with this idea so you can complete two at once!! i will post more about the other challenges as I get them completed. Here's the layout I made for my challenge. I used my newest sketch that you can see below. The sketch is also up as our monthly sketch challenge.

If you have never participated in any of our challenges, I hope you will consider playing along this month!!! I would love to see all of your work. DOn't worry about it being good enough or not-all memories and layouts are important, precious and reason to celebrate!

And my announcement is that I am joining the Paper Popsicle's team as a class instructor! I am currently planning the first class which will be posted in July.
