Joshua had a MOP on his head. Jeremy bought some clippers and decided to cut it himself. We set up the dvd player with Nemo to keep him still. It worked pretty well, but he got antsy toward the end and finally decided enough was enough. Here's the before and after.

The weather has been beautiful here the past few days. Jeremy decided to finish the last bit of landscaping in the front yard today. He ordered rocks and rented a Bobcat. I helped lay out the black tarp (no weed stuff) underneath and Joshua played with his toys. I can't believe he hasn't passed out from so much fun and sun. I'm sure he'll sleep well tonight. The only time Joshua took a break was when he ate a popscicle.

Leave it to Joshua to find a way to play with my scrapbooking supplies with his cars. He decided my new curvy cutter was a great race track. Maybe.

Joshua is going to be an awesome big brother!

I think most of you know that we are expecting a little one in July. We just found out that Joshua is having a little sister! I know he's going to be a great big brother and I can't wait to see them grow up together. While I was having the ultrasound and we were watching our little girl on the big screen, Joshua was leaning over the table rubbing my head and shoulder!! It was the cutest little thing. I know he's going to adore his sister!

For some reason, I just haven't taken very many pictures lately. I need to start pulling out the camera more often. Anyway, here's a picture of my boys last night munching on popcorn. This was the first time we let Joshua have any popcorn and it made me really nervous!!! But he did really well-tried to eat only one piece at a time (I say tried because we'd catch him trying to sneak a handful!!!) and chewed it up well.

We celebrated grandma D's birthday last week with homemade pizza and a big salad. (Yum!!!) Here's Joshua getting some hugs before dinner.

I moved Joshua's dishes to a drawer that he could easily access so he could learn to start helping. He loves picking out his own bowl or plate and silverware.

Discovery Gateway

We went to a children's museum yesterday and Joshua had a blast. Before they opened, though, we went to Build-a-Bear and he picked out a Big Bird. He was a little scared of helping, but he did pick out and kiss a heart to go inside of him.
When the museum opened, he got to go around to the different learning exhibits and actually participate by doing things. Here's a few more pics (the first one with Joshua giving the "news" is from there, too!)-

Here's Joshua and Sydney, another one of his good friends. Her mom, Crystal, and I like to scrapbook together while the kids play. Sydney's a little older than Joshua but he doesn't care! He loves to hang out with other kids. :) They were wearing friendship bracelets when I took this photo. Too cute!

Still tons of snow around here and much too cold to do much outdoors!! Here's Joshua doing one of his favorite things...looking at our photo albums! He loves to look at them. He points to the pictures and even notices some of my fun embellishments (he pointed to some balloons and said, "baloo.") :) .
