I will also be posting the July class over there TONIGHT!!! It's a really cool do-it-yourself word album! You're going to love it and it's not hard at all!
The great part is that you should have everything you need in your scrap room already. (Unless you are like me and have to buy new goodies just for fun and inspiration! )
Before the class, you will need to decide what word you want to create. Here are some ideas-
SUMMER (the 3 Bugs paper in the store is perfect for this!!)-various summer pics
FUN-Summer BBQ’s, trips to the park
POOL- Swimming photos and memories
FAMILY-Display extra photos you develop
BABY- Pictures of a newborn
LOVE-Pictures of you and your honey or an after wedding memento for a friend
TRIP- Family vacation photos
PARTY- Birthday pictures
Here’s what you will need for the class-
Chipboard- I used some extra I had from packages of paper. (If you don’t have any, you could just use heavy cardstock.)
Trimmer
Craft knife
Ruler
Letters to trace (can be die cuts, chipboard, or you could even freehand them)
Scissors
Adhesive- I used a wet adhesive for the book and tape runner for my photos
Sand paper or sanding block (helpful to clean up rough edges of chipboard)
Coordinating papers and embellishments
Ink
Hole punch
Binding- rings or ribbon
So gather up your supplies and meet us over in the How-To forum at Paper Popsicles for the class tonight!!
Here's a small peek of my project-
love the sneak of your project! I've missed you stacey!! hope all is well! BIG HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog :-)That is an awesome project, very creative and fun! Do you recommend the Wishblade, i don't have anything that makes big enough letters, i have the cuttlebug and the letters are sooo tiny!
ReplyDeleteRachael, you could even print letters out from your computer and cut them out to use as templates. I hope you'll check out the tutorial and make one!
