Jer's Aunt Laura and Dennis came to town for a few days to visit last week. We had a nice evening visiting with them, Uncle Jim, Aunt Lynda and Grandpa L. As always, these family visits seem much too short!!! Here's a couple of pics.

More layouts

This layout is for an assignment in our Feeling Scrappy sketch class. It was the COOLEST assignment!!! You have no idea what a cool idea it was. My layout doesn't even do the assignment justice. you should totally take this class next time it's offered!!!
I also used the Toby kit from TSS for this layout-they have great kits!



This one was for the Scrap This! Challenge on Feeling Scrappy. They have a different challenge every week that you get to earn flowers (points) that go toward a prize each month. We had to use two of everything on a layout. i sort of cheated and used three photos but grouped them so they were in two 4x6 areas. Jayne gave me the ok, though!! :) LOL.

Challenges

I really love challenges! So fun! Just finished this one for a Scrappy Hour challenge for the class I am taking at Feeling Scrappy. It's simple but I think the bright colors are fun!

Thinking

Abigail makes this face a lot. It cracks me up because it looks like she's really thinking hard about something.

Joshua is trying really hard to be a good big brother. He helps me by getting out diapers, grabbing things I need from another room and helping to entertain his little sister. He's such a wonderful little boy!

A couple of pages

Finished two pages yesterday for two different sites.

The first one is for a class I am taking at http://www.feelingscrappy.com/ . It's a class on sketches and this was our warm up challenge. This is the second class I am taking there and I love them so far!!

The next page is for So you think you can scrap at the scrapbook site. It was a challenge of "3's" and we had a list of 3 things each that had to be included on the layout.

Aunt Jo and Tom

My aunt Joanne and my cousin Tom were here for a few days visiting and they stayed with my parents. We didn't get as much time as I would've liked to spend with them, but when we did get to see them, it was great! Joshua really warmed up quickly and everyone loved seeing Abigail. :)

Week 5 challenge for So You Think You Can Scrap over at TSS. I didn't think I'd get this one done. But I got it in about an hour before the deadline. We had to use song lyrics on a layout. I chose a song by Michael Card about his son. This was fun but challenging since I don't tend to pay much attention to the lyrics! I am happy with how it turned out, especially the way the song lyrics and photos make me feel. :)

My little photographer

Joshua got really into taking pictures on my sister's camera yesterday. He'd point, say, "cheese!," and snap a photo. Here's him in action:

And here's a couple of pictures he took with my camera today. He needs to work on his aim a little, but he had a lot of fun taking these!!

Well, the night before we went to the hospital to have Abigail, I HAD to get in one more scrapbook page!! This challenge was posted Sunday afternoon on Feeling Scrappy. We had to pick a sketch from Getting Sketchy and create a layout. Here's the one I very quickly finished for the challenge.



I'm hoping to get some scrapping done soon. I feel like it's been WEEKS since I've scrapped instead of only a little more than a week. :)
