Scrapped this one yesterday for the weekly sketch challenge on Feeling Scrappy. This little girl has the craziest hair. It will NOT do anything but stand straight up! I am wondering how high it will get before it goes down. LOL

Card challenge!

I posted my first card challenge over on Feeling Scrappy! I hope you'll go check it out and play along. I'll have a new challenge every Thursday. This week's challenge is a little different than cards you might have made before. Here's a little peek at the back of it (notice the circles hanging off of the side?)...

...you'll have to go to the message board at www.feelingscrappy.com to see the front of this card, my sketch and my other sample. :)

Do you like to make cards? There are two reasons I love to make cards.
1. It's so much cheaper and more personal than a store bought card.
2. It's a quick way to be creative when I don't have a lot of time.

Reorganizing!

I've been trying to clean out and reorganize my craft/scrap area. i'm finding stuff I forgot I even had! LOL Hopefully I can get this mess cleaned up soon and get back to scrapping. Until then, here's a card I made for a card sketch challenge on Feeling Scrappy (the sketch is originally from Page Maps)-

And on a fun note, I get to start a new challenge every Thursday at FS (www.feelingscrappy.com). It's a card challenge and I've been coming up with some new sketches and fun ideas for it. I hope you'll come and join in my excitement! It starts this Thursday but there are always other great challenges to keep you busy until then.

Pumpkin Patch

Ok, so it's not a REAL pumpkin patch, but it's fun and the money goes to a local church. :) Joshua wanted a pumpkin he could carry and tried to pick up quite a few. We finally settled on one (even though he couldn't pick it up!) and he got to pick out a couple of baby pumpkins for him and Abby.

Jeremy and Joshua carved the big pumpkin while I cooked dinner. Joshua was grossed out by the pumpkin "guts" and wouldn't touch them! LOL.

YAY!!!

I am so excited and honored to have been chosen as a Design Team member for Feeling Scrappy!! If you haven't already checked out the site, it's a wonderful and supportive message board that offers online scrapbooking classes. The address is www.feelingscrappy.com . We have a BIG CROP planned for November 30th!! Put it on your calendars, you won't want to miss the fun and PRIZES!!! If you've never participated in an online crop before, it's a lot of fun. There will be challenges, games and lots of chatting. Hope you'll join us!

Altered Box

I got the idea for this box from a box someone altered on AMM. I just used an empty box from one of our Schwans items, added some paint, Scenic Route paper, ribbon, Thickers and stamped flourishes. I made it to store all the cards my friends have made and sent to me. :)

Layout and a quick craft

Here's a layout I just finished today for the class I am taking at Feeling Scrappy.

And the cover of our MOPS address book. Made it for the coordinator who claims she doesn't have a creative bone in her body. LOL
