Some sketches

Here are a few sketches I created for assignments in the sketch class I am taking at Feeling Scrappy (http://www.feelingscrappy.com/). This is the second class I have taken through this site and it has been a lot of fun and I've learned a lot! It's also been a great way to challenge myself to get some scrapping done. I've really had to squeeze scrapping in a few minutes here and there since Abigail's been born but I've been able to get a lot done-partly because of this class! The next class Feeling Scrappy is offering is all about journaling-you should definitely check it out!

Anyway, here are my sketches created from various inspiration items-

Newest layout

Here's a page I just finished. I used a sketch from Getting Sketchy for it. I submitted this one as my entry for Feeling Scrappy's newest monthly contest called "Splish Splash." I feel like I rarely get time to scrap these days! And when I do, it's a few minutes here and there.

Grandma L. came out to visit for a day. Joshua loves to see all of his grandparents and always has fun with them. She brought some goodies for the kids, but also some yummy Korean food goodies for us!! YUM! Thank you!! Joshua actually took the picture of Jeremy, grandma and Abigail-he really loves to take pictures!!

My good friend, Melanie, and her son, Grant, came out for a visit last weekend. (Sorry I am behind on posting!!) It was a blast to see them and really miss seeing them more often. The boys both LOVE cars and got along great (even though Grant kept calling Joshua "Baby Abigail.") LOL They had a lot of fun chasing each other up and down the hall and around the yard. I miss them already!

Haven't had any time to scrap. Joshua's been sick all week and I've just been T.I.R.E.D. Needed to get this challenge completed today. This is the midweek challenge for TSS So you think you can scrap contest. It was quick and fun to do!! Still need to do my full challenge for the week. I am behind on all the challenges I usually complete for this site and Feeling Scrappy!! Yikes!

Who's out there anyhow??

Just wondering who's all been reading about my babies. I don't seem to get many comments any more. I KNOW you are out there!! Yoohoooooo. Leave us a note sometime to say hello. :)

Here are a couple of new pictures. Joshua loves to give Abigail kisses. :) It's so sweet.

Jer's Aunt Laura and Dennis came to town for a few days to visit last week. We had a nice evening visiting with them, Uncle Jim, Aunt Lynda and Grandpa L. As always, these family visits seem much too short!!! Here's a couple of pics.

More layouts

This layout is for an assignment in our Feeling Scrappy sketch class. It was the COOLEST assignment!!! You have no idea what a cool idea it was. My layout doesn't even do the assignment justice. you should totally take this class next time it's offered!!!
I also used the Toby kit from TSS for this layout-they have great kits!



This one was for the Scrap This! Challenge on Feeling Scrappy. They have a different challenge every week that you get to earn flowers (points) that go toward a prize each month. We had to use two of everything on a layout. i sort of cheated and used three photos but grouped them so they were in two 4x6 areas. Jayne gave me the ok, though!! :) LOL.

Challenges

I really love challenges! So fun! Just finished this one for a Scrappy Hour challenge for the class I am taking at Feeling Scrappy. It's simple but I think the bright colors are fun!
